This is my first blog and it is dedicated to Jill! I think this will be an easier way to keep everyone updated on whats going on with us.....well, its either going to be easier or it will end up being harder because I will have no time to update it....I guess time will tell....but I can at least try! Anyway, let's catch up. Royce, Nathan and I have moved back to our home state of New Jersey. It is kind of a crazy time for us because of the new baby, new house and new job (for Royce) but things are finally starting to slow down. I was really happy to move back to NJ because we are closer to our families which is great for Nathan. I love that he knows his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. It is also nice because we have plenty of babysitters when we want to go out. Moving back to NJ was the end of an era for us and the beginning of a new chapter for us. Leaving the south was hard because we had so much fun in Texas. We met the best group of friends anyone could ask for and I miss them everyday. I also miss my job at Trimmier and hope that soon I can get a job that will mean half as much to me as that job did. Of course it was only good because of Jill, Carrie and Cassandra!
We bought a beautiful house in New Jersey and have been spending the last two months getting it all together. We have had a hard time with the furniture store. We ordered our furniture in the beginning of May and are still waiting for some if it. I will post a picture of the house, although I am not sure if I have a picture yet, so I may have to take one tomorrow then post it.... :)
I am still looking for a job but I probably wont find one until closer to the beginning of the school year. I really hope I find one because I miss teaching.
Nathan is doing great! He turned 5 months yesterday! I can't beleive that he is 5 months old already. I love seeing him grow and learn each day. He has started eating cereal. His favorite is barley cereal, especially when I mix it with apple-prune juice....sounds yummy, huh? He also LOVES sweet potatos! He eats the entire container and usually wants more! I tried giving him peas tonight and he was NOT happy.....so he does not like peas. He actully gagged on them so I was not going to force feed him the peas...I don't blame him, they smell gross!
We finally got an offer for someone to rent our house in Louisiana.....we are just waiting on the credit check. Hopefully it goes through because I don't want to make another mortgage payment on that house!
Well, I am tired now and I am going to try to add some pictures. I will try to keep this updated as much as I can....or at least as much as Nathan lets me!
